Savitri Publications is an independent publishing house committed to nurturing meaningful literature and authentic voices. We believe that books are not merely printed objects, but living expressions of thought, emotion, and social reflection. Every story carries responsibility, and every author deserves dignity, care, and ethical support.
Founded with a deep respect for creativity and intellectual honesty, Savitri Publications works at the intersection of literature, education, and social dialogue. Our publishing philosophy values depth over noise, purpose over trends, and long-term impact over momentary visibility.
Savitri Publications was founded with the simple yet powerful aim of making literature a living, breathing node of thought, dialogue, and social reflection. Established by author, poet, and educationist Shraddha Ahuja Ramani, the publication house seeks to create a space where words are not just printed but understood, discussed, celebrated, and carried forward with responsibility.
Our aim is to promote sustainable publishing practices, ensure that authors and poets find their rightful place, and build a literary ecosystem where creativity is respected, nurtured, and meaningfully shared with society.
Founder & Managing Head, Savitri Publications
Shraddha Ahuja Ramani is a writer, poet, educationist, and the Founder & Managing Head of Savitri Publications. With over two decades of experience in teaching and literary engagement, she has grown at the intersection of education, expression, and social thought.
A deeply committed academic and lifelong learner, she has pursued advanced studies across multiple disciplines, shaping both her intellectual range and her grounded approach to knowledge. Alongside her academic journey, she has authored twelve books in Hindi and English, spanning poetry, fiction, social reflection, and contemporary realities. Her writing reflects sensitivity, courage, and an unwavering faith in honest expression.
After walking the path of a writer herself and understanding the emotional and creative journey behind every manuscript, Shraddha felt the need to build a publication house that would be ethical, nurturing, and fear-free. Thus was born Savitri Publications. The purpose was clear: to create a sustainable, author-friendly space where writers can publish their work without pressure, prejudice, or judgment, and where creativity is honoured in its purest form.
Savitri Publications is dedicated to Savitribai Phule, the pioneer who ignited the movement of women’s education in India. For Shraddha, this dedication is an act of remembrance, gratitude, and responsibility. It reflects her belief that education, especially for women, is the root of every lasting revolution.
More than a promoter of literature, Shraddha is a believer in the power of voice. She stands for voices that question, heal, resist, dream, and transform. Through her work with Savitri Publications and its literary initiative, the Ahmedabad Literary Society, she continues to create platforms where stories are not merely published, but respected and truly heard.
At the heart of her work lies a simple conviction:
Literature is the soul of life.
Savitri Publications is also the home of the Ahmedabad Literary Society, a vibrant literary initiative where books are not only launched but truly lived. Through regular book talks, poetry evenings, panel discussions, readings, and literary gatherings, the Society creates a platform for genuine dialogue between writers and readers.
This unique integration of a publishing house with an active literary society ensures that every book published by Savitri Publications receives not just visibility, but engaged readership and meaningful conversation.

We are committed to creating a safe, ethical, and supportive environment for authors—especially new and emerging voices. From manuscript evaluation to long-term literary mentorship, we walk beside our authors with transparency, respect, and responsibility.
